Editorial Review for Mount Sanitas Summit Hike – by Ashlee Dole
In Short
This two-hour hike is a great workout without the hassles of joining an indoor gym or driving to the mountains. Mount Sanitas, nestled in Boulder's scenic skyline, is easy to reach. The hike offers either a steep, stair-like climb to the top, or a wider, less steep path. At the top (about a 50-minute climb), there are panoramic views of the mountains and the Boulder and Denver skylines.

When to GoThe trails can get crowded on weekends, so you might want to try this on a week day. Or plan ahead to go during off-hours.
