Great beer ... hairy service.
Great microbrews...good selection.
Service by bartender Sarah (long red hair) was rude and seemed like she had something else to do. We were served beer and food by her but service was slow and she kept flicking her hair the whole time. Tie it back or wear a hair net ...gross!!!! Health and cleanliness issues.
Might come back another day when someone else can serve us.
Great beer & food. Spend a week in Denver and wanted to spend some time at Breckenridge. Awesome staff. The beer is fresh and excellent. Pandora's Bock and 471 IPA were incredible. The BBQ is the best in Denver. The pulled pork sandwich was great. If you visit Denver, this is a must.
Good beer, terrible staff, nothing for kids.
We visited on a Tuesday night night when it was all you can eat pork ribs. Make sure you order your second helping the same time you order the first because service takes forever here. We had to continually get up from our table and physically go to the bar for soft drink refills because the staff was nowhere to be seen. We sat with another couple who had a separate ticket from us and they were both messed up beyond belief.
They tried to charge us for things we didn't order, and then when we pointed it out they changed it and added another thing we didn't order! They also brought our food out about 15 minutes AFTER the order for the other people at our table. This was nearly the worst service we've ever had anywhere. They also had NO kids menu and nothing on the menu that wasn't absolutely covered in bbq sauce.
Worth It!. Tried this place out during lunchtime b/c I work around the area. The menus is simple and the wait staff was very nice! God the beef brisket with potato, def. a thumbs up! Couldn't taste the beers though b/c it was a work day. Great vibe, and affordable prices in this comforting eatery. I would go back to try the ribs or pulled pork next time!
Excellent Brew and Q. This is a true hidden gem in Denver -- tucked among warehouses just south of downtown and where Breckinridge brews its excellent beers. The BBQ is excellent -- pulled pork, brisket, turkey, etc. The perpetual beef rib lunch special would make Fred Flintstone drool -- you will be taking some of it home. It is counter service for ordering -- they like to give you your money's worth -- and the prices are good. The bartender makes the rounds keeping your glass filled -- free refills on sodas and iced tea. The two-meat combo plate is a great deal. It has become a weekly stop for lunch for many in our office.
This kid sister to Breckenridge's Blake Street location features a cozy pub atmosphere, quality craft beer and killer barbecue..
In Short
This casual spot is a hit with friendly regulars, office workers and blue-collars from the neighborhood. Fresh pours of beer are the fermented specialties--everything from the company's popular Avalanche to their nicely balanced IPA and a delicious oatmeal stout. The pulled pork sandwiches with slaw are very good, the chickens are tasty, the dry-rubbed ribs some of the best in town. All benefit from a slow smoking over hickory.
Colorado beer.
They have great beer,. If you go to the location on
Kalamath they have tastings of thier brews with the brew master!!
very good. Great chicken, great turkey. The spicy sauce is some of the best sauce in town, and the sides are much better than what Brother's has to offer. Skewered vegetables would be a great addition to the menu, but the brewery next door is a great and unique addition. Worth checking out. Inexpensive friendly atmosphere, pool tables, and limited bar.
