The most worst hotel experience ever!!!. This hotel by far was the worst I have ever encountered. As you walk in the waitingroom in 82 degrees and there is alot of long term reisdence that hang out in the lobby that have poor hygein. I gave them a $50 bill for the deposit of the room and paid my fare. You go to your room and there is filth in the hallways, pipes exposed in the ceiling that have mildew rot on them. Your room is small and we had the privilage of finding a marajuana joint in the windew, a beer cap in the drawer and a used chapstick under the bed. Wrote a statement about the joint but did not seem as big of a deal then a 6 month old making 5 in our room then 4. I am a hospice worker and we take children to bigger cities to let their hair down and just be normal. My daughter, 2 hospice kids and my infant son was with me. The 2 children were being picked up after the concert, but traveling a distance to do so. Dropped the teens off at 3 and my infant son and I rested. Everytime you go to your car you are harrassed by the residents on this hotel and see arguements with the hotel staff and other unhappy customers too. In the room you hear slamming doors and intoxicated people up and down the hallways. Retrieved the teens at 12:30am, so now I have been in the room by myself since 1:30pm and now have the children with me by 12:30. Called the parents who were traveling from Fort Collins and Eagle. Got a call from the front Desk asking how many children were with me in the room, I said the same as when I checked in, parents are on their way, one will be here by 2am. I was then told by a Amy (owner) who had her children running all around that this was not going to work and I could either rent another room or check out. I said I will check out then. The girls helped me load the van and I had to place calls to the other parents. As the girls loaded the vehicle they were asked by several strange men if they wanted to accompany them to their rooms. The teens got very scared and at that point the lobby tried to force the children to stay in the lobby and not with the parent. After all was loaded I go to retrieve my cash deposit and after waiting for 35 minutes for her to do a room check (i have photos) with the long term resident with bad teeth, she then had a man called Shawn who offered for the girls to sneak in from the side so Amy would not know and I said no because there was no wrong doing. Shawn did the room check, came down after 10 minutes, never said a word to me or Amy (GM) and then she proceeded to say I would not be getting my cash return because there was pillows on the floor, a scuff on the wall and ashed on the vanity, hmm weird since I found their drugs in our room window, did I mention I saw them smoking marajuana outside near the exit I was offered to sneak 2 12 year olds and a 13 year old in at. I called her a theif and said I would make a complaint to choice hotels. Did so...it gets better, travel all the way back to Grand Junction after being awake since 5 not returning until 5:30 in the morning to find out that they charged a additional $82.00 for 2 extra adults!!!!!!!!???????Excuse me what? Called Choice took the report and someone was to cll in 72 hours, called my bank to dispute charges and called the police department for fradulent charges. Now it is a insurance matter and choice says I need to get ahold of Sleep Inn owner. Had my husband call and guess what a Amy or a Bill is the owner. But will not release insurance info or anything. This lady had ratty clothes , her children running everywhere and I doubt she owns it, but can't get past the front desk. vERY VERY BAD HOTEL. AND NEVER EVER AGAIN AND WILL FIGHT TO THE END UNTIL THIS IS FIXED
