I been going at blue ice for so long it's always fun there. Friday night the salsa music and dance is amazing always pack and so many good dancer and good looking Latino girls. Happy hour is the most thing I like about. 2 for 1 you call it and the drinks are strong. I would say one of the best bar in Broadway.

Great atmosphere, great music and (strong) drinks!!. I love that they have different music playing on different nights, salsa fridays are my FAV! The drinks are cheap and the bartenders are great! Must go lots of fun!!

Editorial Review. Head to this hip bar that features a dark, blue atmosphere with a chill vibe.

great dark bar, great drinks, friendly service. it's great to find a cool, dark, funky bar where you can just chill by yourself and not feel like a bar bum. this place is dark, and uh, blue, but is still lively, clean, and happening. i was there on a quiet tuesday but was welcomed in by a friendly bartender and staff, hooked up with strong drinks for decent charges, and was made to feel very comfortable overall. zeth is the man, the music was mostly good, and the warm greetings going 'round as friends congregated made for a great atmosphere. stay away from downtown tourist traps and head down here. located near late night food, cafes, rock clubs, etc. too

Fun...if your older. Sick of the bar scene in Lodo, good for a mature crowd. And he drinks are good on the pocketbook - and you still feel cool while your there. It's a bar, it has music...bring your friends it's a good time!

Decent LoDo alternative. When Blue Ice first opened, their schtick was "we're the non-LoDo bar." It holds true for the most part. I find their cocktails reasonable - their martini glasses are bigger than the overrated Funky Buddha's glasses. And Blue Ice is very spacious, which is always a treat considering how crowded most Denver bars are.

The let down is definately the sound system. Instead of having a full sound that fills the room, the music blares out of the speakers in one direction. The DJ's are bland, but then again I'm not a fan of the unimaginative, repetative House music that patrons insist on hearing in every nightclub in the world.

As a resident of the area, Blue Ice is a good place for me to get a drink before going home. I recommend getting there before the boring, blaring music begins. A final note, they have an excellent martini list.
