The Scene – Twin clapboard casitas painted light Caribbean-blue house this buzzing restaurant. Oodles of trendy people flood the petite bar area, a casually cozy nook with wooden crates for liquor shelves. The adjoining dining house is a lively spot with roomy turquoise-washed tables. The menu features mostly Cuban dishes, such as grilled mahi mahi with starchy boniato (white yam) mash and flank steak marinated in Cuba's signature Mojo (garlic, olive oil, pepper and citrus juice).
Oh sweet Jesus!

ok so i dont quite know how to tell you all this.. But the food here is simply Orgazmic!!! I wish there was a more appropriate way of saying it, but there you go. Everything Ive tried at this place from the appetizers down to the coffee was absolutely phenomenal! I dont know why its taken me so long to find this place!
- Pros: EVERYTHING
- Cons: Where have you been all my life.. Advertise damn it!
We Love Cuba Cuba

We have dined at this restaurant about 6 times and are consistently pleased. We went last weekend for my birthday dinner and noticed that the menu had been changed since the last time we visited. We loved the new plantain platter appetizer so much that we actually ordered two of them. My husband ordered a seafood special which was fantastic and I ordered the pulled pork sandwich- also amazing. We love the food and the atmosphere, but don't expect a romantic dining experience; it gets extremely loud in the main dining room for dinner. The pros are the food, mojitos, polite service and entertaining atmosphere. The cons, which I admit there are some cons, are the fact that you can't make reservations and have to wait in a loud bar area for up to an hour at times, the restaurant is smaller than it should be for such great food and it can get pricey really quickly, also there is limited street parking.
- Pros: Great food, mojitos, service
- Cons: Small restaurant, long wait, no reservations, limited parking
Ripped off for New Years Eve, pass on this Cuban restaurant.

So dissapointed in this restaurant that I have previously dined in. Made reservations for NYE dinner and the person on the phone never relayed the suprising events that were to unfold later. Reservations were for 9 pm, we had to wait and buy drinks in the bar until 9:20 pm (the worst $7.50 mojitos in town, if they are going to charge $7.50 for a mojito using a premium rum may be a good idea). When seated we were informed that dinner would consist of a braised pork salad with yucca, soup, more mashed yucca with an 8 oz (or so) beef filet (cooked medium rare only) and creme brulee. Good thing there were no vegetatians in my party. We had no menu options. Dinner also included a free mojito. Then comes the bill, $187.50 for two people, the food was not even close to being worth the price. I have no problem paying for good food. But almost $90 a person for this type of meal was absurd. I felt like I was at a used car lot with hidden dealer handling charges. I spoke with one of the managers and told her what had transpired. She was shocked that at no point were we informed of the single menu selection and cost of the meal. What was even more dissapointing was that she offerred nothing to remedy the situation. You would think she would offer to buy a couple of drinks the next time I was in, which her cost would've been a few bucks. She offerred nothing. I was very friendly and polite as was she but offerring nothing in the future to make up for this bad experience is bad business. I do not recommend this restaraunt and will be on the search for an alternate Cuban restaraunt.
