Cuba Cuba Cafe & Bar

One of my favorite places to eat in Denver. Try the paella or pork sandwich. The pork they use is tender and tastes slightly gamy like the fresh pork my sister used to serve me on the ranch which I love, nothing like store-bought meat. Get there EARLY! or it's standing room only and you will have to wait a while. Lots of positive energy here and something else you won't find very often at any Denver eateries: great food and ambiance! I just wish I lived closer, but that's probably a good thing though, because I would just bankrupt myself eating here all the time.…

Need to freshen the menu. Boring but with potential. Maybe when summer hits they will do something special with the menu. Sure the Mojitos are grand, but they need to make the menu a bit more interesting. Ambiance is nice with a rustic flavor. Service decent but not intensely focused pros like Le Central.

Hope they pull themselves out of the rut.

Great Atmosphere & Tasty Menu. I have been to Cuba Cuba twice and loved it both times. First of all the decor and atmosphere is everything I love about going out to eat - intimate, unique and comfortable. The steak with chimichurri sauce is EXCELLENT and so is the ceviche, but I just wish the portion size was bigger (because it is so good). The mojitos are also very refreshing!

The only downside is that they don't take reservations, so there can be a wait. We tried to go there for V-Day and there was a 2 1/2 hour wait! I guess there is a reason for that though : )…

Mediocre at Best. I am from Tampa FL, known for authentic cuban food and "Cuba Cuba" does not come close. Not to say their food is bad, its just not great, especially for the price. Their black beans are not spanish at all and lack any real flavor. Their roasted pork was ok but overly citrusy...if you plan on eating here be prepared to drop around 15-20 per person on food alone. Since I got takeout, I want to go back and try their drinks and dessert to get a better overall perception of the place. As of now, I would not go to get food since it was not worth the price.…
