Echter's is one of the largest retail garden centers in Colorado. They grow many unusual varieties of flowers not normally found in garden centers. They also offer over 2,500 varieties of flowers each year and have built their business on the quality and performance of their plants. All of the annuals, perennials, roses, and poinsettias grown by Echter?s are sold through the retail store. In addition to the plants grown in the greenhouse, Echter's sells trees and shrubs, and houseplants.

In Short – Even with 16 acres of land, Echter's can't grow everything it sells, but it does manage to pull 85 percent of its annuals and 60 percent of its perennials from its own nurseries. Advice is free for the asking, along with a spot for kids to play. Echter's also provides everything needed to finish a backyard: pond materials, statues, patio furniture and grills. Rentals such as tillers, aerators are also available.
