Read the post claiming discrimination after our second visit to this restaurant. The first time we went no one spoke to us either but the proprietor did chat with other tables. But it was obvious
they KNEW those clients. On our recent visit we were approached and asked how everything was and we replied, "wonderful". Service was terrific.
I'm not a German/Austrian/Czech food expert and have only visited those countries a few times but the food at this restaurant was delicious. WARNING: Bring your appetite as they serve a large quantity of food.…
Their hours have changed!. They changed their hours last Feb09, but failed to have them changed on the web. I suggest calling before going ....
the best i have had. we go there every chance we get. am sad they are no longer open for lunch during the week. The Czech items on the menu are the best in the state.
Great service, if you do not cross ethnic boundries!. We went to Golden Europe to celebrate the closing of our house. The restaurant had been recommended by some friends, so we decided to give it a shot. The service was terrible, the waitress refused to make eye contact with me, but only communicated with my fiancee. I looked passed that, figured she was shy. Food was average. As I scoped other tables, I noticed that a gentleman was walking around greeting all customers, chatting with them, asking about their meals, etc. At times he made an appearance at a table nearly THREE times. I waited patiently for him to come by our table, but he never did. We were the only table with diversified attendees, I truly believe this was race related. We will not go back to Golden Europe, because of this experience.…
