Okay not Great.
Some of the dishes are still very good like the sesame chicken and fried rice. Although we have noticed that some of the chicken dishes tend to have strange cuts of dark chicken that have skin on
them and are a little too chewy for our tastes.
Be careful, recently I got a really bad case of food poisoning from a chicken dish. With the timing of the onset of symptoms, I am 99% certain that something in their food was the cause of it. I am sure that this happens in the best of restaurants from time to time, but when I brought it to the attention of one of the assistant managers, he just tried to deny any possibility that it might be their food. He said that all the food is cooked to order with fresh ingredients. He also said that I was the only customer to ever call the Tea Garden about food poisoning.
Over the past 11-12 years my family and I have dined at the Tea Garden fairly regularly and lately the quality there seems to be declining a little bit, in terms of food quality.…
