This course was at one time open only to military personnel because it was on the property owned by Lowry AFB in Aurora. Since that time, Lowry has closed and Mira Vista has opened its doors to the golfing public. The back nine features a lot of water and few trees, the front nine much narrower, tree-lined fairways.
