Rude, profiling, immature owner.
My roomate and I went to this establishment, and in fact had a really good time up until we went to leave.
We decided to get some food to go later, not knowing that they cost extra. Upon exiting, were approached by a man who looked like the manager (Mark) asking us very rudely if we had paid for the boxes, and when we explained we were unaware, he continued to get even more sarcastic and angry with us. Willing to pay, we asked how much they were and he acted as if we couldn't afford it. At this point we handed him the boxes and said we hadn't planned on it costing that much. He dropped two of them in a belligerent tizzy. He marched off yelling, "Who gave these kids these boxes?"
We left and came back, with 20 dollars in hand for our waitress. After that, I went to speak with him again:
"I was just wondering if you had maybe a corporate number I could call?"
"I'm the owner"
"Is there anyone above you that I can contact?"
"...God, maybe."
I told him how rude I thought he was, and he just acted immaturely and said we were trying to steal, which clearly, was profiling against a younger crowd.
Good Food and Good People. The resturant is pretty busy but the employees try hard to keep the returant clean and full of food. The coustmers don't watch their kids but they management makes anouncements. I talked to management about my good experiance and they where polite and freindly. Everywhere has their ups and downs but they work hard for their ups.
Awsome. Well this is a place were u can juzt sit back eat all can,an just chill
All you can eat? More like, try and keep this down. I understand buffets are not always known for great cuisine but hell I'd rather eat out of a dumpster than at this golden corral. First of all the employees are immature and are more concerned with having relations with co-workers than do their jobs. I actually witnessed two servers dry hum9*** each other in a corner. Needless to say I lost my apitite, which may not have been a bad thing. The roast was dry and covered in fat and just about everything else was cold. The manager must promote leaving food in the bar for hours at a time in order to save this disasterous establishment some money. The golden corral patrons aren't much better. Eating here made me feel like I was at viting day at a county jail. The "urban" customers made me feel very uncomfortable.
Good food, busy place.
I like Golden Corral. They have a huge selection of food (american food mostly).
For breakfast, they have chefs who cook fresh made omlett and waffles right in front of your eyes. They have fresh fruits, yogurt, cereals, different kinds of juice, milk besides just regular breakfast menu such as eggs, sausages, bacon, pancakes, french toast, etc... The restaurant has too many tables and it becomes difficult to walk between tables when the place gets crowded. They don't have any booth sections, so there is no privacy.
