I am beginning not to like the.
I am beginning not to like the little chain type China Chef Express as they seem to work on quantity vs quality. I have given up on the China Chef and Now am doing that with the China Chef
Express after the last meal. Several times when ordering from China Chef Express I have been unhappy with the quality of food. And now they are getting my orders wrong..I ordered the off their specials and first they tell me they don't have that item anymore even though its a new menu and the item says new, and then I order their combo specials with eggroll and it doesn't get delivered with an eggroll. After ordering $35 worth of stuff and paying a $5 tip I had to call them back to try to get the missing items. After having me on the phone for 15 minutes I was told that no I didn't order the eggrolls and I would have to pay full price and a delivery charge (this could take an hour delivery time again) I told them that since it was their error, I ordered quite a bit of food that they should get these at least at the combo add on price or even free since it was their mistake. At that point I was hung up on...
Again with all the Chinese places that want your business, will never be going back to this one…
Food is always fresh and tasty. Our running family joke is - we better go open the front door as soon as hanging up phone from ordering as the food will be there. Usually told the wait will be 45 minutes and food is usually delivered in about 20 minutes. Don't get delivery often but this is our favorite!…
Great Food but bad Customer Service/Delivery.
I had my orders delivered from China Chef Express which was farther away then another restaurant thats closer, but China Chef Express had a better menu then the local China Chef like their Shrimp Lo
Mein had large shrimp, and they have scallops, where the other place didn't.
Had a few order errors which they usually fixed the next time I ordered...Such as getting a combination meal thats supposed to have a egg roll and no egg roll came with the meal, or asking that they have the egg roll seperately when ordering a meal with lots of sauce and they forget so the egg roll is soggy.
But the delivery problem makes me not to want to order from them again. I ordered dinner on a friday night, was told it would tak 45 minutes. I figured since it was friday they were alot busier, so gave them a little extra time and called after an hour. I was assured that the driver was out and would be here shortly. I waited till 1 hour and 45 Minutes and called again. Asked if there was finding our address and was told no...asked if the driver could call us and let us know when it could come and was told no...At this point we told them that we would wait 15 more minutes, the time being 2 hours and then we would go to another restaurant. It didn't come after 2 hours so went down the street and had our food and was back with in 15 minutes....…
