Watch out for the other diners........
While this was the 3rd time out to this dining establishment, we were looking forward to a relaxing and enjoyable meal. Unfortunately, a group of 8 very loud and vulgar ladies were seated next to us, and ruined the evening. Attempts to have our table moved or complaints taken seriously were ignored by the waiter, Juan, who was too interested in the 8-top over our twosome. I guess my dinero wasn't verde enough.
When we complained, the "oh, so sorry" -- no attempt was made to make our experience right again.
So, since it seems that they just want to cater to loud mouthed vulgar women, we won't be back. I'll take my money and my business to another restaurant that may actually care about the total customer experience.
A Near Exact Replica of 3 Margaritas. I just moved to Aurora. The night I closed on my house we drove around looking for Mexican because the group I was with was craving it. Upon walking in the door, it looked just like the inside of a 3 Margaritas (another Mexican restaurant here in Colorado!). We were seated and handed menus... again, replicas of 3 Margaritas. Everything on it was the same. Everything even tasted like 3 Margaritas. I like 3 Margaritas, so it was good. But it seemed to be just a notch below 3 Margaritas. As a food connoisseur, eating at a copy cat restaurant was odd. I was hoping for something new, I got something I have had (and enjoyed) many times before. I would give the 3 Margaritas chain in general a 4 star rating. However a slightly below par copy? Only 3 stars.
Great service, so-so food. We tried this, looking for authentic Mexican. Place is clean, bright, and pleasant. Service is very friendly and efficient. However, service slowed down toward the end of our meal when we needed refills, dessert, and the check. The food was very bland and only about a 3 out of 5. Nothing wrong with it, just not excellent. The chips are bland too and taste different from most Mexican restaurant chips. I'm still looking for an outstanding family style Mexican place in Aurora.
Just like mom would have made.......
I love this place. They serve the best homestlye dishes, along with fajitas. I actually get cravings for their chicken mole and chicken pipan (my new fav :) along with fajitas, buritos and enchiladas.
I have never had a bad experience there. The service is always prompt and friendly. Reasonable prices.
The dining room is always filled with a mix of Latinos and Gringos alike. Highly recomended !!!!!
A place where you feel at ease. I'm Mexican, and everytime some of my friends suggest mexican food i'm scared of what they will choose. But Guadalajara is the best mexican food i have eaten. The waiters are very helpful and know how to make you feel at home. One of the best!!
Mi amigos. Guadalajara has friendly waiters who become your friends and remember you when you visit. The food is fresh and authentic to more southern areas of Mexico not "border" or Tex-Mex. The waitstaff keeps your water glass and iced tea glass filled.
