I've shopped at Colpar for more than 28 years and if they do not have what I need, they will either refer me to someone locally, or get it through one of their suppliers, I can't even begin to list all the materials and electronics I have purchased through them! I hope they stay as they are rather than fall prey to this crazy economy that has hurt many hobby fanatics like me.

Worst Customer Service EVER. This is the worst customer service. I had a model that I had not opened, was a set of knights for my daughter's diorama. Value of set: $13.50. I don't live in that part of town and so I made a special trip to return the item. I was told that I was past the 30 days and they would not return my money, I stated that I understood. I then asked if I could have store credit and I would purchse something else, the manager who looks like he hates working there, told me that there was nothing that he could do. I suggested that they just give me store credit, I would use it to purchase something else that I could use and was still told NO. I mentioned to the store manager that this was not good customer service especially since the box was never open, the plastic was intact, all it had to do was be placed back on the shelf. He didn't care, he still said no. I then reminded him that I would post this rating on the internet, he said he still didn't care. The worst service ever, I will never shop there and I am an avid modeler and am starting to get into RC models. WOW they just lost a permanent customer over $13.50. What a bunch of amateurs, I own my own business and I would never treat a customer like that. What a fool!!!!!

Denver's most complete Hobby Source. I just wanted to put in a good word for Colpar Hobbies. I have been a customer there for the past eight years, starting with 1:32 scale slot cars, and recently dipping my toe into RC planes. Their selection is always large and complete, and the staff are knowledgeable enough to make recommendations that will actually help you. I have bought cars, parts, scenery, track, paint and adhesives, plus RC replacement parts there; prices are always fair, and they usually have what I need/want.

THANKS COLPAR!!!!!

Bill is the man!. I've been going to Colpar in Aurora for some time now. They are the best hobby shop I ve come across. Bill is without a doubt the best. You can't go wrong with these guys. Always helpful and insightful.

Thanks Bill!

Colpar Hobbies is #1 in my book!. Colpar Hobbies not only has an amazing selection with excellent prices, but they've also got an awesome staff who are extremely knowledgeable and they really do care about their customers. I've been to just about every hobby shop in the Denver area and Colpar Hobbies is by far the best. If you are into scale models, trains, RC aircraft/autos, or die-cast collectibles I would recommend their Aurora location. However, if you are into table-top war gaming and/or RC aircraft/autos I would go to their Lakewood location. Lakewood has scale models and die-cast too but their selection in that area is much less than that of the Aurora location. Both are great stores that I shop at regularly and both are staffed with great people who are always willing to help. If they don't have what you are looking for don't be afraid to ask them as they have a warehouse and will order you anything they don't have in stock. I've had them order me all kinds of stuff and it's usually in their store within 3 to 5 days (plus it's much cheaper than paying shipping from an online hobby shop). All and all Colpar has the best hobby shops around and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else!
