Nirvana. In this day and age let me say what a treat it is to see people that actually seem to enjoy where they're working. Cordial and pleasant. My wife and I visit there at least twice a month; and have never been disappointed. We like our meat and the 6oz. sirloin is always perfect. Lately I experimented with the rack of lamb and another time asked for side of scallops. As a retired sailor they equal anyones. Good for couples as well as families.

Let me say that when seated in the bar area you'll have a good chance to have April as your server. She has a photographic memory not to mention her timing in regards to checking on your progress is impeccable. Give it a try.

Australian tchotchkes and brews give this quintessentially American restaurant a distinctive Down Under flavor.. In Short
Boomerangs, Aussie flags, kangaroo portraits and faux aboriginal art honor the homeland's wilderness, but Outback delivers a polished version of rusticity with varnished blond-wood booths with matching wainscoting and casually uniformed waitstaff. Besides more than a half-dozen cuts of steak, diners can pick from large-portioned entrees like ribs, chops and shrimp or chicken "on the barbie." The Bloomin' Onion, a large onion dipped in batter and deep-fried, is an appetizer with a following.

Love the service and food!. My boyfriend and I go to the Outback on Abilene pretty often and always love it. Ricky J is a fantastic, friendly waiter and we always request his section, but everyone there seems so nice. As far as the food goes, I always order the Outback Special steak and it always delivers. Our favorite though, is the Aussie Cheese fries.......to die for. Their ranch dressing is sooo good. It's nice to have a "chain" restaurant that doesn't feel like it.

Always Good Food & Great Service!. My husband and I go to the Outback on Abilene quite often. They are always friendly, the food is consistently yummy and we love the fact that we have our own boomerang on the wall! Outback does a great job with their Victoria Fillet - it comes to the table just as I have asked - and my personal favorite side dish is the broccoli! Call me crazy, but I love Outback's broccoli - it's not too crunchy and has lots of flavor! Oh, and the King Crab legs are fantastic! All in all, the Outback on Abilene is a great place for a good meal, smiling faces, and all for a good price! Oh, and try their cheesecake with raspberry sauce for dessert - oh my!
