In Short – Boomerangs, Aussie flags, kangaroo portraits and faux aboriginal art honor the homeland's wilderness, but Outback delivers a polished version of rusticity with varnished blond-wood booths with matching wainscoting and casually uniformed waitstaff. Besides more than a half-dozen cuts of steak, diners can pick from large-portioned entrees like ribs, chops and shrimp or chicken "on the barbie." The Bloomin' Onion, a large onion dipped in batter and deep-fried, is an appetizer with a following.

I love this place, I have reconmended them to all my friends. I spy on all the men that I am with because I know there cheating on me. I have used my friends cars to hide and sneak anround. Alhough I have never caught any of the men I was with, I did falesify matters of the truth againest all to prove my inocents. My understanding is that I am a bi-polar bitch. Talking about a polar shitf, I am on the front line as an expert. Ask all my past and current husbans. They can’t handle the shift. I’ve lived with 6 men in in the past 9 yrs, so I know about how damaging a bi-polar shift can be. I will not be cheated on!
- Pros: I love to outback for private fun

My boyfriend and I go to the Outback on Abilene pretty often and always love it. Ricky J is a fantastic, friendly waiter and we always request his section, but everyone there seems so nice. As far as the food goes, I always order the Outback Special steak and it always delivers. Our favorite though, is the Aussie Cheese fries.......to die for. Their ranch dressing is sooo good. It's nice to have a "chain" restaurant that doesn't feel like it.
- Pros: great staff, superb food, fun atmosphere
- Cons: NONE

My husband and I go to the Outback on Abilene quite often. They are always friendly, the food is consistently yummy and we love the fact that we have our own boomerang on the wall! Outback does a great job with their Victoria Fillet - it comes to the table just as I have asked - and my personal favorite side dish is the broccoli! Call me crazy, but I love Outback's broccoli - it's not too crunchy and has lots of flavor! Oh, and the King Crab legs are fantastic! All in all, the Outback on Abilene is a great place for a good meal, smiling faces, and all for a good price! Oh, and try their cheesecake with raspberry sauce for dessert - oh my!
- Pros: Great food!, Great staff!, Great value!
