Best Food in Denver.
Kim Ba Restaurant has been my favorite Vietnamese restaurant for over 15 years. There is no other Vietnamese restaurant that compares to this place. Although there are only 2 people that wait the tables, Patrick and Shelby, who consequently are always there, good job guys :) There is never a lack of friendliness or kindness from anyone at Kim Ba's. The appetizers and entrees are phenomenal and the wait staff and cooks are as friendly as ever.
After years of eating at Kim Ba there is no greater pleasure than the first bite of food and the great conversation that always follows. My suggestions for entrees are the following, the #57 eggplant is superb as a vegetarian dish, and the # 17 pork chops are number one for a pork dish. I also love the # 38 beef vinaigrette, and the # 28 chicken salad, lastly the most exceptional dish of all is the #1 Vietnamese eggrolls. All the food at Kim Ba?s is great and there has never been a better place to eat, relax and enjoy great company. Overall there is no better place for great Vietnamese food and friendly service. Keep up the great work Kim Ba!!

Poor wait staff.
I have been going to this place for years. I am not sure what has happened but the service is horrible. They have a female who works the lunch shift who is just plain rude! I will not be comming back any time soon.

A TERRIFIC Surprise....
I chose Kim Ba based on the glowing reviews on CitySearch - WOW!! What a little hidden jewel! You MUST check this place out - You will not be disappointed! I was floored by the amazingly friendly service. You really feel taken care of! They gave help with ordering & provided great tips. As I ate my first bites, I realized I haven't been so pleasantly surprised by a restaurant in many years - if ever.
It's certainly not the Ritz - but the best places never are. People who appreciate terrific food and phenomenal service will quickly see past the surroundings. I can't wait to send friends & family there - it truly is one of the city's best kept secrets!

Best Kept Secret in town.
Kim Ba's is definitely a best kept secret. I have been eating there for about 10 years and love it. The prices are so reasonable. I tease them that they don't charge enough for food or wine. The service is great. The atmosphere is lacking but that is the trade off for the great prices. My two favorite dishes are the Spicy Scallops (#25 if I remember correctly) and Tofu in a spicy coconut bean sauce. They do close for a month every year around Christmas so call first during that time. Family owned and run and costumers are family too!

FANTASTIC Spring Rolls.
Thank goodness for consistancy. I had lunch here today and once again, after being gone for at least 6 months, the food was still delicious. I love the way they bring a new glass of soda, the fresh mint, the pear saki! Just a great place, been eating here since I was a teen.

Better Than Federal.
This is absolutely the best Vietnamese in town. Not much on atmosphere - but the amount of food you get for the price is great. I've been 10 times and never made it past the specials.
