Good Food/Bad Accounting. Like to stop in to eat lunch which is usually a slice of pizza and a regular drink which is usually about $5.50. You can imagine the suprise when you look at your account and notice they added an extra 5.00 when it hits your account. Take my advice and pay cash, you have to be crazy to give them crooks a card.
Locally owned pie purveyor serves up basic, budget-friendly pizzas and pastas..
In Short
Local customers come here for standard-issue pizza. Clean booths and tables, walk-up counter service, self-serve drinks and plastic flatware. Pizzas come in thin- and thick-crust versions. Both are the fold-it-in-half, grease-dripping type so popular in the Big Apple. The eatery also serves up affordable plates of pasta, fresh Italian-style salads and daily specials that include calzones. Delivery can take over an hour, but the wait's usually worth it.
Best Pizza in Denver.
I am from California and i went to Denver to visit my best friend, I wanted some really goooood pizza. I had tried a lot of pizza places in Denver, Aurora, and Parker and all of them were pretty bad!!!! My girlfriend sugested that we go to Anthonys Pizza. She said they had amazing pizza and really good service, I had to try it.I went there and the pizza was amazing, you pay like 16.00 $ for this huge pizza.I ended up taking half of the pizza home and had yummy leftovers the next day.
Needless to say that I stayed in Denver for two weeks and orderd pizza from Anthonys Pizza i think a total of 4 times. I definitly recommend anyone visiting the Denver area should definitly make a stop at Anothnys Pizza!!!!
Medicore delivery pizza. We were anxious to try something new with a good review and that wasn't too much like one of the big pizza chains. While ordering food for delivery certainly requires some consideration for quality/temperature/etc, Anthony's overall just didn't do much for us. The delivery took a while, although the food was at a decent temperature. The pizza had a good flavor, but the crust was pretty chewy and hard. The garlic bread was slightly better than pitiful, consisting of the tops and bottoms of a hoagie bun, with no garlic flavor and being so dry you HAD to dip it in the marinara. While I might consider visiting this place in person in hopes the quality would be better, it wasn't worth the cost (~$20 for a med pizza and small garlic bread) for delivery.
:D. Anthony's is possibly the best pizza in town. Aw, who am I kidding? There is no other good NY pizza in this city. Seating is always avalible, and while they don't have the fastest food, they have the best. They put it in the oven right after you order, and it can't be beat. If you've ever been to New York, this is the closest you can get. The Yankees, Mets, and Jets memorabilia add to the atmosphere, as does the smell of fresh italian food, which is instantly recognizable. Compared to Anthony's, there is no other pizza or pasta anywhere else in town.
