This place offers more than one might expect from a place where Chinese chow costs less than two bucks a scoop..
In Short
The main feature of this restaurant is a large steam table holding standard-issue Chinese fare: wontons, egg rolls, soups, Mongolian beef, kung pao chicken and lo mein. Everything costs $1.25-$1.50 per scoop, and the scoops are huge. Fresh ginger and crisp broccoli spears find tender beef in a thin oyster sauce that lets the ingredients do the talking. There's also pork in garlic sauce with big slices of onions, skin-on potatoes, scallions and garlic.
