Wonderful doughnuts and friendly owner. Friendly neighborhood operation owned and operated by the chripy and conversable Doughnut Empress of Commerce City. Her offerings are as good or better than most in the area, but lest costly. She will not let you have a stuffed or icing topped treat without full disclosure of flavors involved like the type of jelly or buttercream vs. custard. The store has limited seating and the ambiance will never make you think of a slick franchise operation. Try sitting down and enjoying your sweets while the Empress serves other customers.
