Good Italian Restaurant in Westminster. Great service, great food, decent prices. Sad that it took so long to find this place as I live only a couple blocks away. I had the spaghetti and meatballs. Excellent!  View Less View More

Lunch Dive - great for carbo loading. Bova's is surprising busy at lunch on weekdays. The ambiance is absolutely horrible. The place has a gross mildewy carpet smell and the patrons look like they just got out of prison.

On a happy note, I was pleasantly surprised to find the food enjoyable. I had the Wednesday lunch special which comes with soup or salad and a pepperoni, mushroom calzone. The wedding soup was pretty authentic with bits of spinach and meat. The calzone came covered in extremely red tomato sauce and was packed with canned mushrooms, pepperoni, and slices of sausage. I actually like it.

All and all if you don't mind drinking out of a large plastic glass and eating amongst riffraff this place is OK.  View Less

homemade Pasta. We were pleasantly surprised by this place. the spaghetti and meatballs are awesome - homemade pasta and huge homemade meatballs - with just the right amount of spice in the meatballs. The waitress said the ravioli is also homemade, but the other pasta types are not - so I recommend getting spaghetti or ravioli - and try

the meatballs - this place is definitely worth a visit - staff is also very friendly.  View Less

Decent Chicken Parm.. The Chicken Parmesan is pretty good. The crust is okay on the calzone. But that's about all it has going for it. The mushrooms are canned, the meatballs taste really weird and have a really gross texture. The sauce has to much oregano. The price is okay and it's pretty fast. But I wouldn't recommend going here. I'd rather go to Olive Garden  View Less View More

Real Italian in every sense!. I was born and raised in the same house in Westminster (I'm 50 now) and Bova's was part of my life from as far back as I can remember. The original Mama & Papa are gone now, but the kids (and grandkids) are still carrying on the family ways. I moved to California nearly 30 years ago and don't get back much, but Bova's is on our list whenever we do. I read some of the other reviews and the main complaint seemed to be it's kind of worn around the edges (seats, etc).....that's what makes me feel at home everytime I walk in there. And the food can't be beat.......homemade all the way. The meatballs are the best anywhere, sausage is delicious, etc, etc. Prices are still one of the best deals you'll see. Bueno Gusto!!!!!  View Less View More
