Tips for Olive Garden

August 09, 2008

Traditional dishes and all -you-can-eat salad, soup and bread sticks are the draw at this upscale-casual Italian restaurant.. In Short
Established in 1982, this chain gained a following for its laid-back atmosphere and generous portions. Patrons settle into comfortable booths and tables in dining rooms with plants, artwork and décor reminiscient of the villas in the Tuscan countryside. Starters include scampi, sausage or pepperoni pizza, and several soup choices, as well as a signature seafood dip (crab, shrimp, cheese and marinara). Entrees include classics like lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo and chicken parmigiana. There are also "Garden Fare" options, which promise 30 percent fewer calories.

Great. NIce neighbourhood restaurant. Nothing special about it though. Parking is a problem at times. Could use little more staff.

A great place to relax. I have lived in the area for years and I love going to the Olive Garden. I hear other people pan it, but I love the food and it is a relaxing atmoshpere and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. If I have a problem they are more than happy to make it right for me.

It's Olive Garden. The bread and salad are great, but if you eat anything else, you're just foolish. Anybody that would take their Italian relative here would have a hit out on them so fast. . . No Italian grandmother would ask to go here unless she was looking to whack someone with a wooden spoon. Please stay at home and make your own. I think Chef Boyardee is Olive Garden's main supplier
