Legacy. A little overpriced, but the most difficult course you will see. Usually shoot in the high 70's and this course brought me back to the low 90"s. Thanks for the humbling experience.

#3. If I'm not mistaken one Golf digest once wrote, "if this is the shape of muni's to come, then sell you your club membership! I think that says it all.

Great!. For $50 you can play a challenging and fair golf course. The course is in my top 3 in the Denver area and I have played them all. Big greens make it fun yet challenging.

If you like tricks.... Legacy is a really nice muni with some of the finest facilities in Colorado. Good course layout with some really great holes. And then there's a couple of "trick" holes on which you have to hit blind through a screen of trees lining the irrigation canal that runs through the course. If you like this "putt putt" type of golf, you'll be in heaven at Legacy.

Tough from all the way back!. Even if you're a long hitter, i'd recommend not playing it from the Black tees your first time around. This is a tough course with lots of blind shots and you probably won't pull a decent number until you've been around it a few times.

With that said, it is a great course. Good (not great) conditions. Challenging holes that really get you thinking, and present many options.

I do have a few things that should be mentioned. First, there are too many houses lining the fairways. Secondly, I called ahead on a tuesday morning, was told 'no problem, come on down.' When I go there, there were 4somes booked for the whole hour afterwards. They did get me out after 45 minutes, but they should allow singles to call ahead and secure a tee-time on the day of, instead of the 5 minutes notice i had before teeing off.
