Great service. I called to get help, and found the proprietor extremely helpful and friendly, someone I would want to do business with.
Not A Showcase Worth Seeing. The building was warm but the service and atmosphere left me cold. I was expecting "showcases" of assorted unique, rare and/or old stamps as the name of this business implies. Instead, it's dusty showcases had an assortment of what looked like newspaper clippings about stamp collecting randomly strewn within them. The walls of this "showcase" shop mostly held various stamp ordering kits and dusty materials to use when collecting stamps. There may have been stamps displayed further back in this deep narrow building but I never got there as I was stopped and asked if I could be helped. In a matter of seconds and a quick flip of pages I was informed that my 20 year old stamp collection was not worth a dime and the best place for it would be a garage sale. I was deeply offended and quickly left. I would not recomend this business to anyone. View Less … View More
Very nice stamp shop.. I'm a new stamp collector and a friend and I visited this local shop and felt like we had lucked out. Ken, the proprietor, offered reasonable prices and lots of helpful advice. Two minor drawbacks: he's only open 4 days a week, and his shop does smell like cigarette smoke. View Less … View More
