view & uploadPizza and shakes. Yum!! It's a blast from the past when you walk into Franks. This family run restaurant is a staple in Englewood, but it has not gotten it's reputation off nostalgia alone. The pizza is what keeps you coming back. Great food!!
Good Pizza!. If you want a good pizza here is the place. Try the 10" pepporoni! I loved it.
Best veggie pizza. I love the pizza at franks! Sometimes the service is a little slow but the pizza more than makes up for that. My favorite is the veggie and they make up a good little side salad too. Prices are reasonable. And the 10" pizza is just the right amount for 2 people. Don't pass up franks, I have tried tons of other places and keep going back there because its sooo good.
A Family Tradition. I grew up eating Franks and still love it. It's been the same great thin crust pizza my whole life. It was even our family tradition to get pizza from Frank's every Christmas Eve. Except those depressing years that Christmas Eve fell on a Monday. It was also my dad's high school hang out in the 60's. Good memories and good pizza.
Yes!.
This small pizzaria has great thin crust pizza. The sausage is terrific!
If you are a drinker, you will need to change gears and order a shake instead.
Your won't be sorry you went.
The King of Denver 'Za!.
Being from Chicago I am a bit of a pizza snob. Thin crust, deep-dish, stuffed, if it?s made in Chicago, it has to be damn good!
N.Y. style doesn?t appeal to me and I can?t stand the large pizza chains, so when my wife and I stumbled upon Frank?s we were delighted. At last, a pizza place we could enjoy that was comparable to the thin crust ?za from our hometown Chicago.
The out dated decor adds to the appeal, making Frank?s more of a hip-joint rather then a restaurant complete with jukebox and an old ? school video game.
When you go to Frank?s it?s not about the decor, it?s about the pizza?good pizza?the best pizza and that?s why Frank is the Pizza King!
Finally, I found great thin crust pizza in Denver. I have lived in Denver about 5 years now. One of my favorite foods has always been pizza...but it seems that Denver is very lacking in good pizza restaurants. I am no fan of "new york" style pizza...I don't like floppy, chewy crusts and lots of grease which is typical of this style. I am a fan of thin and crunchy crust or a good deep dish. Franks was recommended to me recently, so I gave it a try. Excellent, thin and crunchy crust. Decent sauce and toppings. Not greasy. The place is a bit dated and could use a facelift, but the service is friendly, and the food a good value for the money. If you're tired of all the new york style pizza that Denver seems to be obsessed with, try Franks...I finally found a pizza that I love in Denver.
We love Frank's!. My wife and I moved out of the city, and needed to find a new local favorite. (We still love Nicolo's in Cap Hill the best.) We tried Frank's first, and fell in love. The sauce is a bit sharp, but works well with the crust and two cheese topping (Romano and Mozzerella). Frank's family STILL works there, and if you're not afraid of toppings, try the Frank's Special. Definately not New York style (not greasy or mushy) .. a style of it's own!
The one and only!!!. You would think it was a terrible place to eat from the outside. But it is AWESOME. You have got to have the Italian Sausage... It is homemade!
Simply the BEST!. Crisp crust, tasty toppings, and the sausage is made daily, on the spot! Can't beat a pizza from Frank's!! Be sure to have a cherry coke with your pie, it's not bottled/canned soda!
