Charbroiled meats and fresh salsas add authentic spice to this Mexicali fast-food chain.. In Short
High tables and a busy open kitchen welcome diners into the spacious, brightly lit black-and-white interior. Just minutes after cashiers take customer orders, fresh-made tacos, burritos and enchiladas (stuffed with steak, chicken or seafood) arrive on the nearby counter. The menu also offers several plates of greens, from typical taco salad to fancier bowls with shrimp or mahi mahi. A stainless-steel bar offers several salsas, plus jalapenos, limes and cilantro for seasoning.

Love this CA restaurant. Having just moved from San Diego to Denver recently, I missed 4 restaurants/stores:

1) Oscar's Restaurant

2) Fish Taco's/Rubio's & Fin's

3) Trader Joe's

and finally...

4) BAJA FRESH

I am so glad to know both Rubios and Baja Fresh are here in Denver. These are 2 of the best fast food Mexican Restaurants! Love the dark salsa at Baja Fresh - nice chipotle, smokey taste! I can't believe people voted Chipotle Mex Grill as one of the Best Mexican Restaurants! Baja Fresh is MUCH, MUCH better than Chipotle Mex Grill. But as the previous rater mentioned, there's not enough locations. Now if Denver can just get the remaining establishments on my list...

unlimited salsa. Love the salsa bar. Very tasty and not too spicy!

A healthy treat. A taste of southern California in Denver. I wish they'd open more locations - say in Boulder or Broomfield. Healthy California-Mexican cuisine with good white meat chicken and quality steak. I like choosing my own salsas too.

Don't Feel Fat. Baja Fresh is simply the best place in town for a burrito. I have never eaten anywhere else that has had fresher chicken, lettuce, tomatos, beans, cheese, etc. The only thing that I could complain about is there lack of presence in the Denver area. However, I will drive 20 minutes when I am crazing the best burrito.
