Most over priced restaurant for the quality and quantity that I've been to. My family went here on a whim and with the waiting line, I assumed it was great quality. Must mainly be a place to impress your rich friends who only care to be "seen". Although the gin and tonic drinks were good, they also cost $8 each. No sides are included for the rich price of a dish ($25 for a very small cut of prime rib; $20 for roasted chicken). Only mashed potatoes (no choice) included with the meat. Extra sides are $5 a shot (i.e., salad). The prime was slightly tough, the chicken dry and overcooked - which my wife should have returned, but didn't. Service was great. Very noisy for a seemingly upscale experience. Very disappointed to spend so much and get relatively little of mediocre quality. You will be much better off going to someplace like Outback or Texas Roadhouse. We won't be taking these "chances" again in the near future.…
Great Food, Service and Atmosphere!.
My husband and I celebrated our Anniversary here per a recommendation. We were not disappointed. The service, food and atmosphere were excellent. We had appetizers, salad, steak, scallops and
several side dishes. The portions were all large and all very flavorful. Oh did I mention the Carrot Cake we had for Dessert? Words cannot describe it! Yummmmmmm!
We will be back.…
Best Steak In Denver - Or Anywhere!.
Be sure to order the filet mignon, and tell them you want it with the Maitre' d butter on it - I believe they took that off the menu but they definitely still serve it that way, only way to go! Get
the caesar salad, loaded baked potato, and a Long Island Iced Tea, and say hello to Heaven on Earth!
J's truly is the best, and I know, I tried a pile of them! Seriously, went one month on a "try to beat J's steak" expedition, and gave up after deciding that none were in J's league, not at all! These included Flemings, Ruth's Chris, Morton's, Trappers, and Elways, and trust me - none compare! No, I didn't try Brook's or The Broker, but after all the others, I simply decided there was no reason to continue trying! Houston's in Atlanta comes in second, but hey, that's a pretty long drive if you're in Denver, dontcha know!…
Good Food, Nice Atmosphere, Good Service, Large portions. I went there with my husband and another couple. Although the menu was not extensive, there was something for everyone. The food was delicious and the portions were large. The service was excellent and we did not feel rushed at all. This was a great place to enjoy dinner, relax, and catch up with friends. I definately will return.…
Great food!. I eat at this restaurant a few times a week for dinner. The service is great, and the prices are modest for how good the food is. I usually get the cheeseburger and it is awesome. Mr. Jack's Chicken Finger Platter is also amazing... far and away the best chicken fingers I've ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a very solid meal.…
