Great Specials, Friendly People, Lots of Energy, HUGE HOT WINGS. As a frequent visitor to downtown Denver and LoDo I find myself returning to the same places over and over. After a while it all seems the same. Last Friday, I decided to head over to Jacksons with a few buddies to grab a burger and beer....

First off, the burger was awesome (I highly recommend the Buffalo Burger with Bacon and Cheese!). My two friends ordered a basket of hot wings for an appetizer and ended up full before they could order a full meal. Those wings were huge!! The bartender who waited on us was really upbeat! We must have hounded him with a hundred questions which he was more than happy to try to answer.

Shortly after dinner while having another round I heard the DJ announce $10 all you can drink! What? $10 all you can drink on a Friday night in LoDo? Needless to say, we stuck around for the drink special. A substantial crowd turned out for the same deal, and we ended up staying until well past midnight.

Jacksons treated us right (and so did the Friday drink special). I'm definitely headed back next week and I suggest it for anyone who has a big appetite or wants to get in on a good drink special.

BAD SERVICE ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU COMPLAIN!!!!. I have been going to Jackson's for sometime now. I have always received great service until recently. The waitress was very slow and rude. I complained to management - which I never have done before and they could care less. It was like getting slapped in the face. They do NOT care about their customers when they are upset. If I received a more sincere apology from management I never would of gone out of my way to write a review here. I am always the first to give someone the benefit of the doubt if someone is sincere. They were far from that.

Watch a game, have a beer and a burger. I was recently at Jackson's and had a terrific time. It was during game 1 of the World Series (boston v colorado). I'm a Sox fan and didn't know what to expect being in enemy territory and all but everything was cool. The crowd and servers well all ok with the fact that an enemy was in their territory. Of course a few friendly barbs were thrown around but in the end we all enjoyed the game. The buckets of beer were cold, the fish and chips were good and the sliders tasty. The place is huge and the roof top deck and outside patio make it ever bigger. If you're visting Denver and need a place to hang out and watch a game this is the place. Oh yeah there's televisions everywhere!

The mother ship for sports-viewing and beer-swilling entertainment, right on Coors Field's third base.. In Short
Big-screen TVs, smaller-screen TVs and all tubes in between dot this two-tiered bar, along with Broncos fans hoping for a glimpse of the game. To escape the sports action, head upstairs, where the crowd is young and the music loud. Friday and Saturday nights, bounce to hip-hop, techno or live music. The crowd is mostly 20-something LoDo wanderers. Jackson's offers a dizzying array of burgers, sandwiches and wraps certain to appeal to everyone, even vegetarians.

Great bar to watch the game. This bar is huge -- during the summertime, there can be upwards of 7 bars open to fit your needs; college FB gets a little nuts with the various alumni groups (stay away from OU in the upstairs bar), but great atmosphere nonetheless. Highly recommended.

Too small. The only reason why I gave this place a bad rating is because its way too small for the crowd that it attracts. If it was twice as big this would be a 10. Service is ok but again due to demand. Crowd is fairly attractive and the one thing I love about it is its connected to another bar with about the same atmosphere and it has a roof section that is awesome during the summer. If you don't find your groove here, head across the street to Market 41. Really good music and friendly staff with lots of beautiful women. Nuff said

Great before, during and after Denver Gam. The food is good, the service is great. There are so many TV's that there isn't a bad place to sit. (There's even 2 TV's in the floor). The smoking and nonsmoking areas are well separated. Great place to meet friends before the games
