Great Sushi and Service.
The sushi is exteremely fresh and good and the service is exceptional. There would not be a line of people waiting to get in every weekend if this wasn't true. Also they now have a wood burning
stove and have added fresh grilled fish and steaks to their menu. I have tried the grilled mai mai and salmon and I can attest to their flavor. My wife and I go there almost every Friday and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience each time. I highly recommend them.
And no, I don't work for the restaurant.…
Don't do it!. We have been going to Samuria for years because of our parents and I don't know if they have changed hands but THEY ARE AWFUL! The food is mediocre at best and tghe service is BRUTAL! GO ANYWHERE BUT DON'T ORDER FROM THEM!…
terrible food, for once. i was so dissapointed. i loved this place and always tell others about it although in the back of my mind knowing that its best kept a secret and don't always want to get out. I have been going to Samuari for about 9 years now and tonight I had some of the worst sushi I have ever had. I think that bad nights can happen with fish however the story gets deeper. One of the owners asked how everything wsas and I said "ok". My husband asked me why I didn't say that it wasn't good to which I replied "I didn't want to embarrass you". He let me know that I should tell them the fish wasn't good. The next time that the gal came around, I let her know that 3 of the fish I had were not good. And that what came from the kitchen cooked, were good. She told me that fish was fresh that day. Not good I told her. Not to mention there was no shine to the fish like there should be. I have love this place for a long time and referred many people to it but after tonights experience, I don't know if I can be an advocate.…
More Americanized.
My husband and I used to come here over 10 years ago. Back then, it had more of the atmosphere of a traditional neighborhood Japanese restaurant & the clientele to match (We had lived in Japan years
ago).
Recently, we went again & found that it was much more Americanized. The food's still great and so is the service, but the ambience is lost. It's still worth going to, but it's not the same.…
