No competition is not good.
I have hit this bar many times over the years and very seldom come away with a smile on my face. I'm not even picky and I like biker joints, but this place has no local competition and it shows.
I have always had pretty marginal service, drinks are weak, and the bartenders are usually grumpy and have an attitude.
I wouldn't even think about doing the karoke there because the show is poorly run, the sound is bad, and the few songs they do have are mostly the cheezy versions, not the professional versions you see and hear at other shows.
The bar gets taken over by bikers in the evenings and on the weekends--some are good, but plenty are the bad kind you don't want to hang around with. It's not the kind of place I want to bring my wife and kids to eat supper.
The Stagecoach is a great outlaw watering hole. Lots of Bikers, Great Food, Great Beer Selection and Great People Watching. Pretty much the only show in town. Love it.
Worth the trip there!.
I have never had anything but FUN at the Stagecoach. They appreciate and respect their customers! ...So much so that the place is usually packed and it's hard to get a drink, but they try hard and drinks find their way to your table or hand.
They also appreciate "bikers". Most of us "bikers" work 9-5 jobs and are only fair weather bikers - as you can tell by the bikes in front on the bar.
It's fun. You'll eat great, laugh hard and have a fine time. Worth the trip!
