Fun, Fun, Fun!. My boyfriend and I went to Melting Pot and we experienced a fun, fun, fun! Dinner. I kept on stealing his lobsters (lol), but anyway, the food was awesome! Will be returning with my younger cousins to see how much food I can steal from them.

Stingy portions, high prices, what service?. Too bad this restaurant gets recommendations, because it is just an awful place. Stairs up, stairs down, and plenty of them. I was so embarrassed that I suggested this dark grotto to my friend. It was very expensive, and the sirloin steak was tough, stringy, and my MD friend wouldn't touch the chicken. Thanks to the "Red Door" on the ground floor, you could escape through the waiters area to the parking lot. I do NOT recommend this place at all.

Amazing dining experience. The melting pot is an excellent place for a date or family event. In my experience the food, atmosphere, and service has been amazing. Plan on 2-3 hours for a full meal of cheese fondue, salad, main course fondue, and chocolate fondue. Eating at the melting pot is more than just dinner--it is entertainment and fun. I only have a couple suggestions. First, don't go if you are on a diet. Second, in the winter, the patio is not comfortable temperature-wise as they have some trouble regulating the heat; try to eat inside.

I was SHOCKED at how bad this place was!. My first trip here started out great, but as the night went on it was filled with disappointment. First off, I would have liked if the hostess here told us we should make a reservation when I called. We drove 30 minutes just to wait there. The server's personality was great, but he was never around. The food was BAD. We were overcharged. The manager was rude. We ended up leaving before dessert even, because, by then, our enthusiasm for this place was GONE. We just wanted to leave. I paid the bill and asked for the restaurant manager. I was given his card. I emailed him the next day, as well as called. It wasn't until 6:00pm that he got back with me. After about 30 minutes on the phone with him, the best he offered was a certificate for the dessert (that we paid for anyway!). I will NEVER go back, and I will tell everyone I know to not waste their time or money.

Great staff, great food, excellent experience.. We had a cheese pot, a beef pot, a dessert pot, and a bottle of very good wine. We took 3 hours to indulge in every piece of it. The food was delicious, there was a lot to get through, but we just couldn't leave it alone.

The staff were all excellent; well mannered, attentive, and generally pleased to assist you. A great place for anniversaries!
