Eeeeeek! I was there today- with my 2 girls- the owner had an issue over animal crackers that she initially offered to my girls & then starts yelling at them & treating me & my girls sooo sooo rudely. She has a very short temper & poor customer service. Buyer & parents Beware! Would definitely not advise going here- can not stress enough that this store- well the store is good- its the owner thats rotten :(

Very unpleasant and unprofessional, ?able ethics!. So disappointing! This was the second time using this outlet for some some child clothing/toy consignment. The owner is extremely unplesant and very difficult to deal with, especailly if you ask her to document and verify the understanding of how you get paid once an item is sold in her business. You have to make a request to get payment for items that have sold in the store. After making the request it takes at least 6 to 8 weeks (if you are lucky) to actually receive a check from her. We are so frustrated with her business ethics, we asked her to send a final payment and close our account. That was on 8/30/11... today we still have not received payment. Do not do business with this establishment... you will feel jaded and cheated.

Be sure to check your receipt!. Well, I have been shopping at Gumballs for over 10 years, and have found a great many treasure at pretty good prices. A few warnings before you go, however, will help.

Check your receipt before you go. The owner is the only employee, and although she will announce what is on sale (green tags 25% off, all others 75% off etc...) when you walk in the door, she seems to forget this when she rings up your sale. I used to get home and realize she only gave 25% on 75% stuff, or she charged full price on sale items. Now I check my receipt right after she is done. Be aware, though, if she gets caught overcharging you she has a horrible temper. She treated me so poorly the last time I caught her overcharging me that the person in line behind me left without buying anything she had selected.

The owner is knowledgeable about everything in the store, but you have to know beforehand, she is not a conversationalist, and in fact she is rather a grump.

I honestly think that the last time was just too much for me. Her manner is so gruff, and unprofessional I think I will stick with Savers around the corner. The prices are not too much more, it is better organized, and the staff are friendly.

Great place. I love gumballs! The owner is increadably helpful if she does not have it she helps you find it.

Gumballs is great!. I love Gumballs! Yes, there is a ton of stuff, and it is crowded, but that is how the owner keeps costs down. Their prices are better than many of the consignment stores around the area, and the sales are phenomenal.
