Jose's - Good Food - Friendly - Great History. As a long time Littleton resident, we take the opportunity to eat a Jose's often. We love the food, best Mexican Food in the city, we love the decor and it's history. The owners are gracious and the service is always prompt and courteous.

It is always fun to meet our neighbors there as we then make our way to Littleton Town Theater. They support this by offering theater goers a discount.

Always love the flowers they bring to share. They grow them in their own garden.

Anything but bland!. This restaurant has been owned by the same couple since it opened 43 years ago and I know the family very well, so im not sure what "new ownership" you are talking about, roxy1697. The mural was painted years and years ago by someone very dear to the family and they are very proud of it. And who hasn't risen prices a little in the past few years? The environment is welcoming and the staff is more than helpful. Jose has been serving the best mexican food in Littleton for so many years and in doing so has aquired many regular customers and families that love what they have to offer. If the food was so horrible, do you think they would still be open after 43 years? In this day and age restaurants are lucky if they can stay open 5 years. This food is anything but bland. If taco bell is your thing go for it, but if authentic handmade mexican food is what you want, give Jose's a try.

Bland Mexican Food. Green salsa tasted like glue; more cheese on top of cheese enchilada - no sauce; food had texture but little else. I've had mexican food in several restaurants in Denver, Colorado and in Mexico. This was the worst. Chips were way salty and stale (and cost extra); combo plate included one cheese enchilada and one chili relleno (also no taste or spice) for $8.00. Will never go back.

Garbage on a plate. I went to this drab, gray, windowless brick box about 2 years ago when i hardly paid attention to how horribly an establishment can be run. And I hated it then. Granted we were in there right before close, the food was hastily prepared, and the service was garbage. So out of the goodness of my heart today i was willing to give it a chance. OK besides the fact that the walls resemble a stupid landscape that you painted for a diorama in 2nd grade, and the atmosphere at a Perkins is warmer and more inviting,At least the old people number about the same.

My God, like the other one star reviews say, the salsa is about as far away from Mexico as Alaska.

Worse than Pace from a can. And you had to pay for refills.

Literally Ketchup with red pepper seeds from your old spice spindle. And you had to pay for refills.

They might as well have given you a Dixie cup for your soda. And ask for two because the waitress wont be around any time soon to help, even though i saw several kitchen walking around the dining room texting.

Being the hungry young man i am, I quickly tore through the bean burrito and enchilada, witch the cheese was good, and the rice and beans witch were 3 dollars extra.

Then we got the bill for 28 dollars. I have never felt more slapped in the face. It is quite clear that they are far more concerned with profit then quality. Go to taco bell 3 blocks away.
