Motor Tech Auto Repair

I live in Golden, but take my cars to MotorTech!. I rely on Mike and MotorTech to maintain both my 125,000-mile 1987 Ford F-150 4x4, and my 190,000-mile 2001 Audi A6-2.7T. I think the mileage on my vehicles is a testament to the quality of Mike’s work.

I can rely on Mike to do the work my car needs in an expert and quality manner, and at a competitive price. Just as important, I can rely on him not to recommend work my car doesn’t need.

I never hesitate to recommend Mike and MotorTech to anyone for the maintenance or repair of their American of foreign car. I used to live 20 minutes from MotorTech, and now live over 45 minutes away, but wouldn't take my cars anywhere else!…

Very Knowledgeable. I totally disagree with the previous reviews. He is my usual mechanic but I needed a converter for my Acura (which is fairly expensive) I got three quotes all within $100 of eachother. He priced it all out for me and let me know he could get a converter that was not "Honda" for cheaper, but it wouldn't be the quality and the engine light would come on again. The other two mechanics told me the exact same thing. Foreign cars are usually a little more to repair than domestic cars.

We also have been told that we needed things replaced to our cars by Grease Monkey and Big O . After he looked at what the said we "had" to replace, he told us they didn't need to be replaced, they could be fixed.

We have had wonderful service with them for the last seven years. If you have any questions he is more than willing to answer them.…

Worst Service I have seen in a long time! Motor Tech SCAM. I can't believe I was ripped off by this cocky bastard. He told me I needed to pull my axels and "lube" them as well as repacking my bearings at a cost of $1250 each! Reluctantly, I agreed for him to do the work along with a manifold cover. Total bill - $4300. My fault for allowing myself to be manipulated by this jerk. I strongly recommend shopping elsewear for auto repairs. There are lots of shops nearby.…
