Strongly recommend NoNo's Cafe! The
staff was friendly and service was great!
My husband is a native Louisianian and, though we've lived in the Denver Metro for over five years, he was greatly concerned about going to a Cajun resturaunt -- he thought "as long as there's hope of a good Cajun resturaunt, I'm good." He was so convinced he'd be disappointed... FAR FROM IT!
He had the Blackened Catfish smothered with Monica sauce; I had the lemon dill grilled Salmon -- we also had the shrimp bisque (amazing!). All was traditional Cajun cookin and we absolutely loved it!
Now we've reserved for the first three crawfish boils -- crawfish is flown in fresh on Saturday mornings for the boil that starts at 3PM (SHARP!). We can't WAIT!…
DONT GO HERE!!!. Owner is terribly rude, cheap, and terrible to staff! A child is his manager. They use to give bread and now they charge.. Wine is an ounce pour and the beer menu sux! The only thing thi splace has going for it is that it will suck in the hotel patrons next door!…
DO NOT EAT HERE!!.
I frequent privately owned restaurants, the but the owner is rude and inconsiderate, as well as abusive towards his staff.
He once had a sign up about excessive motorcyle noise, and he is the one that moved in next to a Harley Dealership! Do not know if he realizes that motorcycle enthusiasts spend money.
Please spend your money somewhere else!!!…
Will be a long time before we return.
We went to Nono's for Father's Day and I should have known to just turn around and leave when I asked for our name to be put on the wait list and was told by the owner that I could have called and
made a reservation rather than just showing up (my son had a baseball tournament so we were not able to make a reservation ahead of time because we would not know what time the games would be depending on win/loss). Anyway, I was told the wait was 45 minutes so I said fine. Well 45 minutes came and went. The frustrating thing is there were always at least 6-8 open tables inside and more on the patio. One would think that on Father's Day a restaurant would make sure to have enough servers.
When we were finally seated the drink and food orders were taken pretty quickly so we figured it wouldn't be so bad. WRONG....we waited another 45 minutes to get our food (we only had 3 people at our table) as we watched multiple tables that were sat 20 minutes after us get their food.
From the time we first arrived it took 3 hours to be sat, be seated and eat. We never had anyone come and tell us that there was a problem with the order or a sorry for taking so long. After we paid we got a "Thanks for being patient" from the owner. Nice.
Anyway, we will not go back for quite some time. There are plenty of other restaurants that appreciate their customers and have wonderful service in the area that we can go to before we will go back to Nono's Cafe.…
Mediocre at best. I took my family to this restaurant for Mother's Day. In short, the manager was rude , the waitress good but it took an hour from seating to being served our meals. Rest assured that when I am told we will call you, don't come back to check on a reservation, I will not be back. I give this one star only because there is no zero.…
