Denver >Beauty > Salon Foushee
I went to this salon based on all the positive feedback. I was looking for a good salon near my new home for mani/pedi's. I called and was able to get an appointment the same day. I went in and was impressed with the customer service I received. I started with the manicure. Of course I got up sold to get the Shellac nails. I was disappointed with the lack of cuticle cleaning done, since this is one of the main reason I get manicures. It was a simple cream that exfoliated the area, but nothing was actually taken off or pushed back. Then the color started. It seemed fine at first but after I actually looked at it, I was extremely disappointed that I paid $44 dollars for my nails. The color was not even covering my entire nails, the tips were white (I got a deep red color), and now a week later they are pealing and chipping. I thought the whole reason you get shellac is because it last 2 weeks.
I also got a pedicure at the same time. I loved the chair they have you sit in but the rest of the service was lacking. Again, there was not scrubbing of your feet or cleaning of the cuticle. Although this time she did get my entire nail with the color.
The salon was very nice, the people were pleasant, and I was relaxed at that time. I will not be returning to this salon which is a bummer since its soo close to my house.
Talented and Friendly Staff. I have always loved this place and now that they are in a new location, I love it even more. The new weightless pedicures they have are amazing. I got the Cloud 9 on the beach and loved it! The Owner Kara Forshay cuts and colors my hair. She is expensive but worth it. I always look great and get compliments everywhere I go. She also personally trains all her stylist and judging how busy they are, I'm sure they are all wonderful too! The new place is on Wadsworth and Belleview right next to TJMAxx. It looks like the address is the old one on city search.
Worst Place for a Facial!!!. I was a first time customer for a facial with Danelle. It says on their website you get a full skin analysis and consultation before each treatment. I didnt get either of these. Danelle did not even look at my skin. She just took me into a room and told me to put on a robe and get under the sheets. She seemed as if she was in a super hurry. She rushed through the entire facial. She didnt listen to my skin care needs at all!! She was very snotty and cold. I called and left messages for Kara the owner and wrote an email to her about my experience on the same day of my facial. She did not return my phone calls or respond to my email. I will never go back. Its all about the money there.
