Lousy customer service.
While they have the best selection of frames in town, bar none, it is no longer worth it to shop there. They are expensive, do not accept VSP and customer service is lousy.
I have shopped there the last 4 years and spend at least $500 on a pair of glasses each time. I have not seen the same sales person there year to year, so staff turnover is high. In addition they work on commission. I go in yesterday to pick up my new sunglasses ($850 with prescription lens) which were a week late.
When I put on the sunglasses, they were clearly too loose to the point of slipping down my nose. The sales person makes no comment so I tell her to tighten them. When I put them back on it felt like one side was higher than the other. It is hard to tell with sunglasses as I could not see my pupils in the mirror. Again only when I told her, she agrees with me and makes the adjustment. Finally they fit fine on my face and she walks away. Clearly next commission was more important than my business. I call her back and said ?Don?t I get a spectacle case for these?? She begrudgingly gives me the customized case it came with, which was part of the price I paid. I was so mad leaving the store. I have bought my last pair of glasses here.
