In Short – Just outside the Denver metro area, this park has rolling foothills, abundant wildlife, campsites, miles of hiking and biking trails, a popular lake with a marina and a hot-air balloon launch site. All campsites are surrounded by grass, within walking distance of the lake and have picnic tables and grills. Facilities include pull-through campsites, flush toilets, hot showers, laundry, centrally located water, firewood and a sanitary waste station. Some sites have electrical hook-ups.
