Gluten-free pizza!.
I was so happy to find that Nicolo's (Highlands Ranch) had gluten-free pizza. I've recently gone gluten free, and had given up hope of eating pizza again, unless I made it myself (as if).
Tonight I had the Highlands Ranch pizza with the GF crust, and it was fantastic. The price was really reasonable, the delivery was much faster than I expected, and the pizza was delicious.
I can stop mourning my pizza-less life. It IS possible to have a great GF pizza.…
Gluten Free Pizza!!!. Without question, this is the BEST GF Pizza in Denver (crust is from Deby's GF bakery). Beau Jo's is too expensive and saltine-like, and some of the smaller mom-and-pop's try and fail regularly. It was so good, I was scared I was eating wheat. My wife is gluten intolerant, we ordered the pizza for her and I got a regular calzone. The GF crust is BETTER than the regular! The next time I order, its GF all the way. Thanks Nicolo's!…
Bland crust, + skimpy toppings = Gross Pizza. The spaghetti is good, the amount of garlic bread you get for the price is ridiculous. Chicago Style pizza has thick dough & lots of bold flavors, tons of cheese & meat. Nicolo's pizza is more like a frozen Tombstone pizza with heavy onions and garlic trying to cover up the tasteless dough.…
Takes me back home.......to Chicago!. Dont know what that chi-town guy is talking about,i just got done eating some Nicolo's and it is good for what you can get as far as Chi-Town pie. That dude is acting like a pizza snob or something, get over it bro..we aren't living in the Windy-City anymore,we are in Denver. Thin crust cut in squares, nice chewy mozzarella, and a good sauce, not much more you can ask for.I have searched high and low in my 2 years being here in Denver and the only other place that is better than Nicolo's is the Rosati's that just got built in Westminster...but i am not driving 30 plus miles for a carry-out pie! Bottom line--If you are sick of the New York style that is predominant out here in Denver, give Nicolo's a try.…
Not actually Chicago Style. Don't agree with everything you read. This is certainly NOT Chicago style pizza. No not all chicago style pizza is deep dish. However, if you get a thin crust pizza in chicago, you will not have pie cut slices. They are all square cut at every mom and pop place you go to. So that is your 1st clue. And they all have deep dish or stuffed pizza. I am not sure the owners have ever been to Chicago, never mind had the pizza. There is no Chicago style pizza in Denver...I have looked high and low and have been very dissappointed...I now make my own at home.…
