view & uploadGreat Happy Hour Menu. We enjoyed great and reasonable appetizers during their happy hour menu. Fish tacos were especially terrific. Great atmosphere and service too. Loved it!
NEW CHEF NEEDED. Second time in the past two weeks where the food was o undercooked. On March 16, 2011, had the pasta dish and the pasta had a distinctive crunch. On March 28, 2011, ordered the broiled trout, the rice also was crunchy. It was returned to the kitchen, and a new rice was brought out and it as well was undercooked. The only saving grace was the waiter. He was very good, but I am paying for good food, which I have not received there for quite sometime. No longer will I waste my money on their food. Too bad, because it use to be a good place to lunch.
The Chef need's anger managment!!!!!!. Be carefull when you dine at willie g's because your steak could have been the unfortionate one that was thrown at a cook and then picked up off the ground and ended up back your plate.
Awesome!!!. We went out to dinner acouple of nights ago and went to willy g's we hadn't been there in a while and were so surprised with the remodel they did to the restaurant and the menu had some great new changes. I couldn't believe the happy hour, it's the best in town!!! We had a great time and our server Jeremy was the same guy from when we were there last over a year ago. He is awesome.... He told us about a select club they now offer and we signed up for it and I don't remember all the perks that come with it that he told us about but I can tell we will be eating there a lot more often now
great place. We had a great experience at Willie G's. We were greeted promptly and our server had great app and drink recommendations. We didn't feel rushed or that we were ever waiting for anything. We had the seabass and a New York Strip for dinner and both were cooked perfectly and tasted great. We didn't have any room for dessert, but the presentation was fabulous! Can't wait to go back.
Hardly a Premier Steakhouse.
We had dinner here on a Monday evening while visiting our son in Denver. Our visit began when the greeter seated us at a table in the back of the restaurant which was almost empty (1st bad sign) right in front of the kitchen doors. There were many comfy booths available which we even mentioned but was not offered. Then our waitress with an attitude arrived. She handed us a menu, asked if we wanted drinks, and then immediately wanted to know if we wanted appetizers. Kind of hard to decide in 30 seconds after being seated. We suggested that she return with our drinks first to allow us to browse the menu offerings.
We had to ask her if there were any specials. Our main course steak selections were not properly prepared; however, we only sent one back so that we didn't have to deal with her atitude. I will say the caesar salad & garlic mashed potatoes were not bad. When we finally reached the dessert stage of our visit, we noticed the chef peeking through the kitchen door window while our waitress paced wondering when we were going to leave. We were the last ones to leave (which wasn't hard based on a empty place). We were there to enjoy our family and a quality steak. We did enjoy our family but hardly enjoyed a quality dinner. Cherry Creek Grille (which is a much better value) blows this place away. A premier steakhouse.....no way. Never again!
Lovely place to go before the theater!. We went here before we saw Wicked and it just made the whole night. The food was great. I had some fish and it was not dry or over cooked. It was a special and not on the menu, so I think this chef has quite the pallet and creative hand when it comes to food. I can't wait to see what his next creation is. I wonder if he teaches classes ant where I heard the was a rumor that he does.
Great place for Mojhito's. The new design is very bright and new aged. I like it much better then the fish on the walls. The chef's specials are to die for wish I could eat here every day. Just a little expensive. But worth the splurg once in a while.
I love the food!!!!!. We asked to see the chef after dinner and he came to the table and was very polite funny and charming. The food was great and the re model is perfect! I love the special that are provided weekly they are unique and wonderful and I love to go to this place!
Got Food Poisoning. A friend and I had lunch here. We had heard good things about it so decided to try it. The food was okay, nothing special, but not bad either. We got back to work and both of us were sick for the rest of the afternoon. We both called the restaurant and talked to a couple of different people. They couldn't have cared less! The response was basically "who cares". I was amazed at their lack of responsibility and professionalism. Will never eat here again!
