Not bad at all!. Good, freindly service. Food was okay. Great beers (try the Frambrozen). Very loud in the restaurant area. Pool Hall is awesome.

Group events, pool and games and great date place. I've spent many a first date at Wykoop and last summer brought my wedding party up to the 2nd floor for the night before the wedding party - really fun and even better since the smoking ban! It's such good beer, food is OK, but the fun is really where it is. The food is pretty average - we actually got fish and chips where the fish was still frozen inside once. Great Calamari though!

Dysfunctional Restaurant Policies. No food in the banquet room. They let you order the food but won't deliver it. Also, I've had three bad meals in a row there.

Pool players, college kids and businessmen convene at Denver's oldest brewpub.. In Short
The smell of wheat and hops greets you at the door, along with the din of folks drinking and laughing around the bar. A large dining room offers comfortable booths and several tables, easily pushed together to accommodate large groups. For a meal, go for the generous serving of seared-rare tuna or charbroiled elk medallions. To wash it all down, try one of Wynkoop speciality brews augmented with seasonal ingredients.

Good food, beer is hit or miss. Reservations are borderline necessary on the weekend - just so you know! Good "bar food" but with a little more character and variety than similar places. Think of it as CB&Potts on steroids.

Service is usually solid, but sitting at a table near the bar (not at the bar) will get you ignored.

Beers are hit or miss. The lighter beers and ales are so-so at best, but the darker varieties are excellent. They usually mix in 4-5 seasonal or smaller batch brews along with staples like the Chili beer. In the summer months the selection suffers a bit with mostly lighter selections. On the other hand, they have had excellent porters, barleywines, and even a schwartzbier.

Makes for a great place to eat before/after a game, show, or just an evening out.
