Unparalleled selection, with unpredictable service. The costume selection and organization are truly stunning here, and the prices are equally stunningly high. I encountered a woman (I got the impression she was the manager or owner?) who was shockingly nasty, for no apparent reason. I have also encountered a clerk (male) who was very nice and helpful, so you never quite know what you're going to get. It is definitely the pinnacle of costume shops in Denver, if you're willing to suffer the attitude and pay the prices. It's too bad; you'd think being in a business like that would be fun and engender a happier outlook on life.

Goos selection & helpful. Found them to be helpful above & beyond the call. Not only stayed open later for us when we came in towards closing but managed to find costumes we wanted for the entire family even in hard to fit sizes. Had everything we needed. As for parking - we parked & walked - parking downtown is never really convenient unless you own a spot - everyone knows that by now. I would recommend this busienss highly - as a matter of fact we have annual costume partie(s) & everyone we've suggeted this shop to has had a good experience and excellent service.

Nestled in the LoDo entertainment district, classic costumes can be found in a contemporary setting.. In Short
Surrounded by Denver's hip and trendy bars and nightclubs, this little costume shop dedicated to carrying on America's masquerade traditions. The interior is decorated with mannequins dressed as witches, wizards and knights. The store eschews cutting-edge, creative costuming in favor of the classics, such as medieval, Old West and classic Greek mythological figures. The collection is extensive, and the store can handle hard-to-fit sizes.

Bad Service at Cistume Shop. I've given the lowest rating here as you can see as we had a terrible experince at this store - customer service was truly horrendous. We never even made it past the intiial stages to look at costumes as we were turned away at 7:20 pm when the store closes at 8pm and even though we'd had checked store hours personally with teh shop before heading to the store and drove 40 minutes to get there. Store clerks were rude when we simply inquired about the closing time problem and asked to just check even on a single costume. I would not give business to this establishment. Go somewhere else - we recommend The Ritz in Boulder!
