Rodizio Grill, The Brazilian Steakhouse

Where passion and food are one

  • Over a dozen grilled meats
  • Carved Tableside
  • Filet, Sirloin, Pineapple...

One of the favorite cuts from Rodizio Grill is the Picanha, also known as Top Sirloin. With the Rodizio method of seasoning, grilling and slicing, it's incredibly tender and flavorful. Besides the meat and the extensive salad bar, there's also fried Mandioca Frita (fried yuca), Brazilian rice, Black Bean Stew and Farofa made from manioc flour. Don't forget to order the national drink of Brazil, a caipirinha, and then make your way through more than a dozen offerings from the grill. Another must try is our homemade Brazilian desserts. The crowd favorite is the Bolo Brigadeiro (chocolate cake) one you'll never be able to recreate at home.

Editorial Review for Rodizio Grill, The Brazilian Steakhouse – by Susan Permut

In Short
Festive and filled with carnivores, this eatery attracts a diverse clientele, from downtown workers looking for a protein fix to families looking to fill up on all the all-you-can-eat meats. The menu includes a veritable feast of flesh: beef, lamb, pork, buffalo and more are brought to your table by "gauchos," waitstaffers costumed as South American cowboys. Meats are all butchered Brazilian-style. There's also an enormous salad bar.

First off, let me say the food is great. The tenderloin and top sirloin are awesome. Stay away from the chicken hearts though. The place, albeit tasty, is really overpriced. Although I think the worst part was that neither of the two waitresses who visited our table seemed to have a clue what was going on behind the bar. I asked for a ketel one and grapefruit juice and she looked at me puzzled and muttered "capt. morgans and cranberry?". I then had to explain to her that Ketel One was a vodka and that grapefruit juice was... well... juice. I had to repeat the same Abbott & Costello routine with the next waitress. All in all this is my summary: Good food, fun atmosphere, overpriced, slow drink delivery.

Pros: Great food, fun atmopshere

Cons: Slow service, naive waitstaff.

My boyfriend loves meat. Loves it like its going out of style. He's from Nebraska, go figure. For his birthday I decided to book reservations here. Hearing all the good stuff on citysearch and looking at that crazy meat menu, I figured I couldn't go wrong here. We had a great time. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was nice and the wait staff friendly. My boyfriend had a a great time.

Pros: Selection - Quality

Cons: None
