Located near Coors Field and the heart of LoDo, the Grizzly is one of the few constants in one of Denver's fast-changing areas. The Grizzly's Old-West decor belies the scene inside: young college types and coeds. The happy hour and nightly drink specials are arguably the best anywhere within a 50-mile radius. The grub is about what you'd expect: chicken fingers, burgers, subs, and some south-of-the border options.

This is a great place to meet either before or after a baseball game at the stadium right by the restaurant. The burgers were big and well made, the fries were delicious and there was a huge variety of appetizers to choose from.

I went to this bar last friday night, and I had a blast. I had a drink called a gatorade..it was so good. the atmosphere and people were great. I will be going back again and again.

So the Grizz is cheap on some nights, filled with drunk college kids on others, always packed after Rockies games and they occasionally have music. If you are into it...it is good. If not, a migraine awaits.
