downtown's finest. The Giggling Grizzly is a world of its own. Where every other bar in this area follows each other by being sports bars, having rooftops, & huge spaces. The Grizzly remains my all time favorite bar, the kind that reminds you of back home. FYI, the fact that they have brought back the $2 call it on Mondays just adds another link to this already popular bar. Thursday nights are the most crowded, but also the most fun. This is definatley Denver's best college bar.

cool bar. this is one of the first places i went when i moved here. i don't know if it is actually bigger than most of the lodo bars, or if it just seems less crowded, but that's always a plus. they service is good, and they have GREAT drink specials. (1/2 off everything on thursday) much more laid-back than a typical lodo bar.

Not a bad word to say. This place rocks! From it's staff to the jukebox, from the different musical styles to the variety of ages that hang out at the Griz, and from it's 1/2 price Thursdays with dollar domestics (my favorite of all the nights) to it's Wide Spread Wednesday or House DJ's every Saturday. Of course I left the best for last, the drink prices. This place always has a great VIBE going on, which is nice to see downtown - a true VETRAN BAR

Great bar & great treatment. I was out in Denver for 2 weeks working and met the team over that period. I was turned on to the bar by an ad in Denver's "what's going on newspaper - The Westword". I spent 5 wonderful nights at the establishment and was able to see 2 baseball games (which were right across the street at Coors Field). I tried a couple of other bars in the area, but none gave me the treatment as this one. Definatley made me feel at home.

Thanks Grizzly, I will be back

This place be da BOMB. Lodo is not really my scene, but the 180 this bar pulls off on a Wednesday has become the only night I go out every week (and yes I work on Thursdays). Great drink specials, Great staff, LIVE PANIC (yeah), and of course closing out the night with some of the most intimate live concerts this town has to offer (I have lived in Colorado for 12 years and the last 5 in Evergreen - just to let you know it is worth the drive).

great experiences. i have been a grizzly regular for years. over the last year this bar has really taken a turn for the better. with all that goes on in lodo on the weekends the grizzly is still that neighborhood bar that provides great drink specials. Also it is off the "beaten path", literally. i would say, always a great time, always a great atmosphere, and great music. best jukebox in town for sure!

Great Giggle. The Giggling Grizzly offers a great weekend atmosphere for the newly single, newly legal and just regular old Denver bar flys. The drink specials are various, many and plain perfect.
