It's All Good.
Take notice all eating establishments in Denver......
Dixon's does it right.
Great entrees.. Varied and excellent. Recently held a Wedding Rehearsal Dinner at Dixon's. Could not keep the 'BEEF EATERS" out of the Spinach Lasagna that was for the "VEGIES". Staff is superb. Kim is the best! Classy yet casual facility. Prices are reasonable.
You are definitly missing out if you don't check out Dixon's.
Great fish, wonderful service. We had lunch here today! I went with the seared salmon, hubby did the fish and chips. We were both pleased with our choices. The wait staff was very friendly, helpful with choices, and kept our glasses filled. We arrived at almost high noon and didn't have any trouble getting a seat. There were lots of choices that looked great, and I definitely will be back to try the other choices and brunch!
great brunch. I really like this place, it's not as good as it's sister store Racines, as far as atmosphere is concerned, but the food is great. I love the eggs benedict and the coffee is nice and strong. It's worth the drive downtown!
Retreat from LoDo into a sanctuary of delicious margaritas served in a comfortable environment..
In Short
The decor of this restaurant is all friendly neighborhood fare, with TVs available for sports fans, and quieter areas for others. The morning menu is broad, with an abundance of waffles, pancakes and eggs. Monday through Friday, drink your coffee with the local power crowd. For lunch and dinner, Dixon's serves up a great, pan-seared salmon; a fine, prime rib French dip; and a robust buffalo burger. Sinful desserts are courtesy of Racine's.
Comfortable atmosphere, great "comfort" food!. I used to live above Dixons, so needless to say I went there a lot. The tables are comfortable and large, the decor is warm, service is great, and the food is just the best! I especially love the smokin' gouda and turkey sandwich and the chocolate croissant bread pudding. Breakfast here is fabulous as well! The bar is great as well, so whatever meal you are looking for, even if it's just for dessert or a drink, I would HIGHLY recommend Dixons! Love it! A great place to bring parents or out-of-towners!
Always a favorite for us. We always try to go to Dixsons for breakfast when we come in to town and are never disappointed! And right down the street from The Tattered Cover! Agreat way to start a Sunday!
Undiscovered breakfast restaurant.
They are truly one of Denver's best places for breakfast. The restaurant is very nice, the servers are wonderful, and the food is great.
I took my parents there on a Saturday morning and we had a great time. The service was timed well for a leasurely brunch. The menu had all the things you would want and the waiter even came up with something off the menu for Dad.
a great place in LoDo. Finally we have found a place in LoDo that is hip but not prententious. Great service and good quality of food as well. On top of the fact that they take reservations if you desire, which seems not be the trend overall.
Great lunch spot. Lunch here with a group - there is something for everyone and everything is pretty good on the menu - from cobb salad and enchiladas to turkey sandwich with gravy. Priced right at $8 - $12 for a nice business lunch. Because its large, its never too crowded - Margs are good for later too. Service is hit and miss - sometimes quick others unbearably slow. Wouldn't recommend for a romantic or hip dinner - lunch / happy hour is best.
Great Breakfast. What can I say? Fast, friendly serive and great food. For breakfast and great ambience, definitely one of the best places to go. It is also convenient that Tattered Cover is right by the restaurant. A good way to end your Sunday brunch.
