In Short
A stylish, well-stocked bar and exposed ceiling beams create an urban yet cozy dining space. Two elegant displays of drums and tanpuras (stringed instruments) decorate the loft-like area. Menu options include a lightly crispy turnover (samosa chaat) stuffed with potatoes and drizzled with chickpeas, yogurt and mint chutney. There's also charcoal-grilled meat (tandoori), including lemon chicken and bright-red chicken (tikka masala). Vegetarians have lots of choices, such as simmered eggplant, tomatoes and onions (bengan bharta).

Ordered for lunch: $18 for Saag Paneer? $21 for Shrimp Vindaloo? $10 for samosa appetizer? I just received and ate my order from DiningIn after originally figuring, with prices like these..the food has just GOT to be better than the other India restaurants I've tried in Denver. Oh well, guess I was seriously mistaken. The Saag was no different than ANY other indian place, the samosa was supposed to be "lamb and spices". Sorry, but no spices to be found (probably the dullest samosa I've eaten, in fact...just some dried up lamb inside dry fried dough). The Vindaloo was very spicy, but that was about it. Everything needed salt and I'm not even a "salt" guy. Oh yeah, they forgot my Garlic Naan. Look, I'd happily spend money on items like this if the food was worth it. It simply is not and was just a waste. -Sunshine

bad mannered behavior Due to them not taking the check, the manager told us to go and get cash out, but when we tried to leave as he said, they locked the door, and the hostess blocked us from leaving! The manager made a huge scene in the lobby in front of other onlooking customers, Uh, have they ever heard of American laws? We had no other form of payment....we tried talking to him and having him once again take the check, but he proceeded to tell us he didn't care what we had to say.
Cons: food, service, seating, temperature of food and dining area, valet horrible service
