Very Satisfying, will be back!.
I have been to India House several times and have always been very happy with the experience.
I am especially delighted with the taste and spicing of the dishes, best Indian cuisine in Denver, CO.
I heartily suggest you try it for yourself, reservations are advised.
Happy dining!
Excellent Chicke Tikka Masala.
I ate here this weekend and was able to talk the owner into taking me into the kitchen. Here he showed me the clay ovens, and talked me through their recipe for Chicken Tikka Masala. The Chef spends about 6 hours preparing the 2 base sauces for the CTM sauce. The end result is the best CTM I have ever had. The owner gave me some of the base sauces and clay oven baked chicken to take home where I was able to make my own CTM
The food is very authentic and tastes great, combined with a modern decor, makes for a great meal!
Very Disappionting. Having eaten at this restaurant on many occasions including when it was the Dehli Dharba my most recent experience negated each and every previous visit. Food was bland and less than mild. The appetizer was quite clearly reheated, the main course was beyond bland. when I complained to the manager he either did not understand or ignored my comments. The meal was removed and returned doused in some kind of cheap chilli source. I will never return to this establishment/
BRAVO India House - Simply the BEST Indian buffet in Denver. Being a fan of Indian cusine, I've dined at nearly every Indian restaurant in Denver. I don't usually take the time to write reviews, however, if you want to treat yourself to the best Indian food in DenverI you must try India House. Quality ingredients are essential and for my money, India House has the freshest and most robust. Cheers to the chef! The quality of the cusine is to be highly commended. The ambiance is what I would call "Industrial Organic" providing an engaging emergence of the ubane with traditional Indian motif. Contemporary Indian music appropriately adds to synergistic Indian dining experience. There's even a rarely seen "Indian-stylized" dumb waiter. The service was appropriately attentive, concise, knowledgeable and essentially outstanding. I recommend India House without any reservation.
Great lunch buffet. Anyone who loves a great indian lunch buffet has to try this place. I have eaten here and at Little India a bunch of times for lunch and must tell you that this place is WAY better than Little India. The buffet always has a bunch of items, and the quality is better. The dinner seems overpriced, but the food is very good, and the lunch buffet is a real steal.
Worst Restaurant. This place is disgusting. We saw something on the wall and they have horrible food. Our server was wonderful but the managment was outrageous. Get your act together or get out of Denver! I will never go back and food safety needs to take a look around.
used to be passionate about their food. I used to frequent their buffet for years, back in the dehli dar bar days even, but now I can't even bring myself in because all the things for a great eating experience are there but the food has lost it's appeal. It's like the staff is there but trying to prepare food as quickly and cheaply as possible for some unknown reason. It's disappointing to know that everything is there for success except the drive of the cook staff.
Best Indian in Downtown!. My husband and I have been frequenting India House since it was Delhi Darbar (back in the early 2000s). The food, atmosphere, and informative wait staff keep us coming back for more. I highly recommend the channa masala and dal tarka!
Great food and atmosphere. I loved the food (definitely try the samosa chaat as an appetizer!). Service was very friendly, but it took a very long time to get our food.
Tasty food, slow service. Definitely fabulous food! We started with the vegetable somosa. Great flavor. For dinner we chose TIKKA NAWAB and shrimp vindaloo for the main dish. We went with the plain nan, definitely get the garlic! Hubby ended with gulab jamun. He enjoyed it quite a bit, not the sweetest he's ever had but definitely yummy! Unfortunately the service was sub par. They appeared to be understaffed and over seated. Even with the back room up stairs no used. Our waiter was moving tables, seating people, running food, and eventually checking in on us! Luckily i love spending time chatting with my husband, but it was still a pretty long dinner!
