The nearest Wahoo's may be miles from the ocean, but this chain creates a beachy atmosphere with cabana-esque decor and a Hawaii surf-themed menu that serves a fresh, light and tasty fusion of Latino, Asian and Cajun fare. Bowls, burritos and combos come filled with your choice of meat, blackened or teriyaki style. Side dishes include Ahi rice, Cajun beans and Baja rolls--flour tortillas spread with cream cheese, leaf spinach, chopped chicken and salsa.

Food's OK but heard rumors of management. I think the foods OK here, but I've heard a lot of nasty things about the colorado management over the years and the way they treat their employees. Enough bad stories that I question giving my dollars to them. Just food for thought (no pun intended).

Best Margarita in Denver. That's right- Wahoo's serves the best margarita in Denver. Not too sour, not too sweet, 1 is all you need-JUST right. And for 4.25 on Sundays, you can't beat the price. We self-proclaimed food snobs go to Wahoo's once a week. We can't get enough of their shrimp tacos, chips and salsa, and oh, did I mention the margaritas?

Wahoo's also continues to have the best service I have received at a restaurant in Denver. The staff is always helpful and polite and cordial-

Margarita's on tap?. Get over it, if you don't like the first margarita out of the tap, better have another to form a better analysis. Not sure after two, have a third and...Wait, this is a restaurant review, which implies food. OK, you order up front, get a number, sit down and wait. Now that's out of the way, please try the Wahoo bowl with blackened mahi mahi, a little dressing and one of those margarita's that was alluded to above. The chips are OK, the salsa with it is fresh and good, sometimes a little too much cilantro but YMMV. Pork, steak and chicken are all good, marinaded to perfection and cooked just right. My two year old is already a regular and enjoys the entire menu, except the margarita's of course!

great fast meals. Yes, it's possible to get outstanding (and relatively healthy) tacos. The food is always good, service prompt, locations perfect.

FYI: Only advertised during football season, the "gridiron grab bag" is available year round. Five tacos of your choice and a bag of chips/salsa for 10 bucks.

Re: Wahoos. It's the best, healthiest place to eat in LoDo, Boulder, DTC or whereever they have a place. The food is good. The atmosphere - casual and relaxing - is the perfect get-a-way from my hectic work schedule. I hang out and watch surf, snowboard or motorcycle videos and totally de-stress from my busy day. That...makes it all good! Oh and after work, they pour a good marg. and fine mexican cervezas!

Fish? Tacos - YES. I NEVER thought I'd like a Fish Taco. I WAS WRONG! They can be spicy as all getout, they are definitely FRESH, I really like them and the only Fish I like is Sushi.

Ambiance is "skateboard slacker" and there is nothing comfortable about the place, but damn the food is good.

The best fish tacos in Denver!. I first ate fish tacos on the beach in San Diego. When I go to Whaoo's, I feel like I am back at the beach. There blackened fish is the best! This is also a great place to have a very casual happy hour. Cheap beer and awesome queso!

Fresh & healthy "fast" food. Don't pre-judge them because they sell fish tacos. Judge them after you've tasted their wonderful food. The best adjective I can think of to describe the taste of their food (besides awesome) is "fresh." The healthy part is merely a bonus to me because if it doesn't taste good then I won't eat it. I highly recommend the grilled chicken burrito combo and the chicken tortilla soup (that tastes more like a really good quality home-made chicken vegetable soup).
