In Short – Falling Rock offers an impressive collection of beers on tap--75 in all--as well as a comfortable, old-school watering-hole atmosphere. Conversation, ale, a couch, food and a jukebox dominate the first floor. Downstairs, there's two pool tables and darts. Fries are a must--be sure to request the red-chili honey mustard for dipping. For something more substantial, try the tasty blackened bacon cheeseburger or the Philly cheese steak.
Avoid this place at all costs

I've been to this bar several times over the past few years and things seemed okay (not great, just okay). But I was there on Saturday 7/25/09 from noon until 1:30 with a bunch of friends and we were not just treated rudely, as other reviewers have stated, we were treated with absolute disdain. The waitress was literally throwing plates of food on our table and the bartender acted as if we were vermin in need of extermination. We left and went across the street to a friendly bar with a competent and engaging wait staff. My friends and I will never set foot in this place again nor will any of our friends or relatives. These guys should be out of business soon if they are treating all their customers this rudely.
- Pros: Nice selection of brews
- Cons: Rudest staff in town
What an awful place

You know.....you can serve me good beer and tasty food all nite long, but if the service is terrible and the attitude is rude, I will not have fun. This place does not seem to understand that. I have tried this place twice and both times were horrible. The bartenders on both visits were rude. We seemed to have the incredible vanishing waitress and the bartender would not serve us while seated at a table....even if paying cash at the bar for the drinks to bring back to the table. In this economy, unless they change their ways, I have no idea how this place will remain open. Too many other nice places in LODO to spend my money.
No more chances for this place from me and I will make sure my friends know to avoid this place too.
- Pros: Nice Beer Selection
- Cons: Bad Service and Rude Employees
Mecca for Good Beer Lovers

I'll keep it simple - if you like good beer, you will like Falling Rock. It's a no frills atmosphere with a nice beer selection, and a far cry away from the meat market bars it shares a general area with.
