Editorial Review for Sports Column – by Citysearch Editors
In Short
This place is one big room crammed with boisterous fans. Big-screen TVs flicker everywhere except the bathrooms. The bar serves a full menu, including burgers and other usual bar favorites, but many people come just for the atmosphere on big-game days. Customers don jerseys and wear their hearts (and spilled ketchup) on their sleeves. Beer is always available, of course, and can be enjoyed on the patio upstairs during spring and summer.

Insider Tips
The ExtrasConsidering its proximity to Coors Field, it's certainly a pre- and post-Rockies-game depot for fans. But the bar isn't limited to sports enthusiasts; weekend nights attract the singles crowd.

The story below could not be farther from the truth. The Sports Column offers great customer service and the managers make sure of it. Ask any employee there and they will tell you that the owner is a stickler for customer service. Although I did have words with this customer, and for this I was terminated, it is a shame that anyone could sign up on here and tarnish the reputation a business has worked so hard to get. You cannot please everybody all of the time and the customer IS NOT always right. I wish people had to wait tables before they were allowed to eat in a restaurant and then they might see what we have to deal with and what we get paid $4 to do. We are all human and we do make mistakes! This is the type of person that is looking for a handout and that you probably wouldn't be able to please no matter how hard you tried.

While meeting with me brother at the bar for the UFC fight my brother and his friend were drinking beer. I came about 8 p.m. and my brother offered to pay for my two drinks about 9 p.m. We were VERY nice to the waitress (Becca) she was very rude and threw the bill onto our table (did not thank us or even ask if we were still drinking). We were not tabing out simply paying for our drinks separately. My brother because of her attitude only tipped 10%. She grabbed the bill looked at it in front of us shook her head and got very upset. The next time she was near our table I VERY politely asked if she would get us more drinks ant that I would pay for them and tip better. She started to walk away and said, "get your f&#$ing drinks at the bar". I told her I wanted to see he manager and she ignored me. I asked again and she said, "I don't give a sh&t who you tell." pointed out her manager and said, "he won't do anything, go ahead." After speaking to the manager she came over to us and started attacking me again. Telling me that my brother was cheap and that she wouldn't serve us. Her manager simply said he would talk to her, did not apologize or get us anymore drinks. She, for the next hour pointed us out to other customers and mummered insults under her breathe. Never will I go to this bar again
Pros: nice tv's
Cons: Terrible Service, young management, no authority, customer's not first
